Diplomas Offered
The INHS grants Diplomas in Homeotherapeutics and Bio-Energetics, as described.
Homeotherapeutics
A Diploma in Homeotherapeutics and the Natural Health Sciences (334 hours) will be issued upon completion of the requirements listed. The student will:
- Complete 234 resident class hours, earning a minimum 2.0 grade for each class.
- Complete 80 hours of independent Homeotherapeutic Case Study Research, earning a passing grade.
- Complete 20 hours of independent Community Service Enrichment, approved by INHS staff.
- Satisfactorily demonstrate the ability to take, reperitorize and solve a case.
- Satisfactorily prepare three book reports, 15 article reviews and a Protocol Paper (a description of the plan the student intends to use in practice).
- Satisfactorily complete an independent study, approved by INHS staff.
- Pass written and oral board examinations.
Bio-Energetics
A Diploma in Bio-Energetics and the Natural Health Sciences (768 hours) will be issued upon completion of the requirements listed. The student will:
- Complete a prerequisite requirement of a Diploma in Homeotherapeutics and the Natural Health Sciences (334 hours).
- Complete 234 resident class hours, earning a minimum 2.0 grade for each class.
- Complete 80 hours of independent EAV Case Study Research, earning a passing grade.
- Complete 20 hours of independent Community Service Enrichment, approved by INHS staff.
- Satisfactorily demonstrate the ability to take, reperitorize and solve a case.
- Satisfactorily prepare two book reports, 15 article reviews and a Protocol Paper (a description of the plan the student intends to use in practice).
- Satisfactorily complete an independent study, approved by INHS staff.
- Complete 100 hours of Clinical Internship, approved by INHS staff.
- Pass written and oral board examinations.
Homeotherapeutics
A Certificate in Acupuncture Training will be issued upon completion of the requirements listed here. The student will:
- Complete 120 resident class hours in Acupuncture theory.
- Complete 80 hours of Clinical Internship.
- Complete an independent study, approved by INHS staff.
- Pass the written Acupuncture examination and a practical examination of point location skills given by the Board of INHS.
The Acupuncture Program is for licensed medical and osteopathic physicians only. All other student restrictions will apply.
